Stopping the search for BBS

Best shave yet today. And it's cause I stopped chasing Baby Bottom Smooth.

I think I was so obsessed with that concept, it was causing me problems. Mainly, my skin just couldn't take 3 passes, would nick too easily and get too raw. So I stepped back, did one pass everywhere, and finished with the disposable. The straight made my disposable look good, since it did all the work. I did actually end up with some BBS, but more importantly I had only one nick this time with very little aftershave burn.

So lesson learned, don't just go slow, but go with the flow. Don't try to force the result when learning.

Stropping getting better, and this time I tried just soap but it broke down on my face. Ended up making uber-later. I'm hooked on that.

Also brought the shave oil back into play. Maybe it doesn't work, maybe it does, but I like the smell of it, and it's part of the ritual.
