Been way to long since I posted. Just had a great shave from my latest acquisition, a 5/8 Wade & Butcher barber notch. This was the first "major brand" razor I've purchased, and I could tell the quality difference in the blade the instant I took it out of the package it arrived in. Great shaver.
Also, I picked up The Art of Shaving Lavender scented shave pack, Pre-Shave Oil, Cream, and Balm. It's my new number one set, when I don't feel like experimenting and want a guaranteed great shave, I know reach for this set. And it included my first badger hair brush, I love it, softer but more exfoliating of the skin.
I did note that if the cream starts to get too dry, it will "snowflake" and become impossible to work with. This is actually a good thing, it's so easy to learn how much water is needed.
More to come.
